I’m really amazed on how fast our generation changed. If we compare children from years ago and those from the present time, you’ll really see the difference of literacy in using technologies. I’ve encountered a 6-year old kid using a computer. Whoa! Really amazing, isn’t it?
If kids even have literacy using computers, then definitely, there should be an ordering principle to govern computer use. Implementing legislation that will govern computer use will set boundaries and limitations to what we could possibly do with the use of computers. It will help to control the unwanted circumstances to happen. Lacking an ordering principle will cause the rise of computer crimes. Implementing a punishment for violating will serve as a warning not to exceed from the boundary point.
i agree with you..law is very beneficial to us computer users..well explained and we are hoping for the total implementation...
ReplyDeletethis law should be implemented inoder to stop computer abuse..
ReplyDelete..we can implement such a law which will lessen crimes and violence. but we can't imprison child below 18 years old. isn't it?
ReplyDeleteand yes, we must implement such law, to regulate the number of crime and violence.
There should be always parental guidance to those below 18 yrs old. Not only in committing crimes but children should not be expose too much to radiation, even the adults to have a healthy LIFE :-)
ReplyDeletevery right. the effect of implementing such laws are to lessen computer crimes. =)
ReplyDeleteIf you want to make a law . You must also consider the user. E.g if under 18 y/o..

Deleteyou're right but unfortunately, government has not approved yet a law that gives punishment for minors
Deletenice point of view....
ReplyDeleteif this will be implemented maybe no more computer crimes anymore.....but for child below 18years old who will violate this law will not be in prison but DSWD, right?
Even if the government will enforce and implement the laws regarding on computer use. It will not prevent the unethical way of using computers. They should not focus on the law itself but also to the behavior of the individual who's using a computer. Proper education and guideline combined to that law will be more effective because of the lack of understanding of people of what is morally good or bad and what is ethical and unethical.
ReplyDeletewe are all computer users so we should be responsible in using computer, for us to know our limitations in using computer.
